Improvements/Changes
Pointerra3D Core
General
- Updated project copy/duplicate function to maintain dataset groups and ordering.
- 360 panoramas now get processed into the same multi-res tiling format as scanview images, resulting in much faster load times and a more streamlined visual experience.
- 360 photo upload improvements
- Added a drop-down to the upload page that allows copying of properties (e.g. pitch/roll invert) from a previously processed dataset.
- Allow specification of which columns in the CSV contain the required parameters (instead of enforcing hardcoded SCV structure)
- Allow use of a regex to override the pattern matching of image filenames to the names specified in the image_id column of the CSV file.
- Added an option to delete any/all datasets in a project and delete the dataset folder when deleting a project. Datasets that are still shared by other projects will not get deleted.
- Add options to copy more features (e.g. POIs, measurements) when merging projects.
- Improved CSV vector (points) importing. Allow specifying the column names that contain the coordinate (x,y,z) information and allow import of other columns as attributes.
- Implemented new IFC importer which has support for reading and then displaying/filtering 3D model attributes (will be available in an upcoming release) and fixed a number of geometry issues.
Portal UI
- Photos that have been converted from IIQ format can now be downloaded from the files tab of a project.
- Added a "last seen" column to the company users list.
Viewer
- Added X and Y axis constraint options for measurements. Improved display of measurement vector with arrows.
- Show panorama camera FOV/Heading indicator in the 3D scene when viewing 360 panoramas.
- Added orthogonal creation mode for cross sections - allows defining the cross-section by specifying a vector orthogonal to the desired section plane (e.g. a road centerline)
Analytics
- Add option to split vegetation into high, medium, low classes and run as an analytics action.
- Strike tree analytics results can now be edited to add/remove/edit individual trees and recalculate wire impacts.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed point cloud jobs sometimes showing a size of 0 bytes.
- Fixed vertical units not being set correctly when reprocessing vector datasets.
- Fixed image paths in block.xml calibration files not being found if they contain additional subfolders
