Rock Bolts Analytic

The rock bolt analytic determines the location and parameters of rock bolt features in a point cloud project. This tool is vital in assessing the relative spacing and classification rock bolt features in an underground structure.

Prepare your input data

The rock bolt analytic has been tuned to run natively on SLAM captured point cloud data, with an average point spacing of less than 10mm. High density data is required to determine the location and shape of the rock bolt features.

Running the analytic

To run the analytic, load the "run analytics" GUI from the Project tab and click "Rock Bolt Extraction" in the Mining section.

• Give your analytic a name
• Provide a description
• Select your config, if multiple exist
• Click Run

An email will be sent when the analytic has been run and it will appear in the datasets section on the left side.
