Multi-user Poles and Wires Editing: Introduction

Pointerra have introduced multi-user capabilities for manual QC and editing of the Poles and Wires analytics to enable customers editing large point clouds to divide the effort across multiple users.

NOTE: This feature will only appear for eligible companies, commonly those that use the poles and wires analytics for large point clouds.

The intended process for how this multi-user editing will be utilized is:

1. For dealing with large datasets, a designated Q/A manager, will split the point cloud up into regions based on how many users will be editing the analytics.
2. Then, the editing users will begin quality assurance and editing their specified region.
3. Once all users have confirmed their region to be amended, the Q/A manager will then review and resolve any conflicts and merge all the regions back together to produce a complete and true Poles and Wires analytics.
